The truck brought back fond memories,I learned to drive a standard shift on a 66 GMC pickup.

Whoa that must be tight. I personally wish my father still played guitar (instead of the banjo). Ah well. Let the good times roll! :)

this is good stuff right here. nice to see the gift of music being handed down over the generations. I'll definitely be getting my children involved at an early age when I have kids.

Did GMC have V-6 engines back in 66?All I've seen are the 250 Cu. In. inline 6 and the 283 and up V-8s,you learn something new every day.The one I learned on had the 4 on the floor and the 250 inline and the stepside short box,but the one you have pictured is exceptional.I hope to have a 60-66 GMC some day when I have all the guitars I want/need.

Those old torque driven 305 "Jimmy" Motor. Some of these were other weird displacements like 351, 401 and 478. Monster V-6! Image
Wyoming T/A, you guys look like you should live up here where I live! trucks, 4-wheelers, and guitars! We call ourselves, rednecks" here!
