Congrats! I could tell from the other threads that you were really GASsing for an American Special and I'm glad you were finally able to take one home. She's a beauty, too. I love Candy Apple Red.

Enjoy! 8)

John

Yes I was GAS-ing big time. My GAS is taken care of. I have been playing the crap out of it. Putting it through it's paces. I cannot say enough good things about this guitar.

I like it, alot. I'm really changing my opinion on 70's headstocks. Their not the plague on humanity I thought they were. You never notice it whilst your playing either.

Great guitar! Good deal too. My only issue with MIA Special is superfical. I don't like the CBS era headstock. They should have an option for the 60's headstock. Highway 1 used to have those...

DB,

Yeah the bigger headstock does take some getting use to. I grew up looking at those bigger headstocks so not that hard for me. If it came with a smaller one, I still would have picked up this B.A. guitar. It sounds awesome, I love the feel of the neck, and the frets feel better than my Highway 1.

I love it. I consider it my bright guitar, while my Highway 1 is my dark guitar. Two totally different tones. Both are great for Blues, Rock, and Metal. I still cannot decide which one is best, but they are both great.

I am still love my Squier CV 60, but it has not been played much the last few days.
