I know how you feel, i ordered a hwy 1 jazz bass back on march 19 and was told by the sales rep that it would be in by april 1st. and every time i call it's always another month. STILL have not gotten it yet and i'm getting pretty pissed from all the bs i've been told and i'm sick of being lied to. i have owned 7 fenders this one being the 8th and i think i deserve a little more honesty and respect from fender. All i know is that this bass better be great and it better come with a free T-shirt (XL) for this waste of time they have given me.

well im breaking down and getting a mint condition sunburst usa standard today from a friend for 600. very tragic accident, i was originally thinking about selling it for a quik profit but its to clean, gotta love a USA strat with the rosewood board.

I can feel your pain, if not in the repeated release pushbacks.

I ordered an Eric Johnson signature strat in March (March 13, but who's counting?) and every day I watch my phone, hoping my guitar shop will call to let me know it's in.

I believe Fender is behind in production due to a recent *cough* switch in paint vendors.

Looks like I have another month to go, although I did see one on the 'bay.
I'm counting down the days, sure hope no more delays...

My friend said it is a paint thing . . . I got so tired of waiting I asked him to get me an Am. Deluxe instead of the Am. Std. hoping it might come faster. I have noticed that GC and MF and PG have received shipments of Aged Cherry Deluxes recently. The little guys are still waiting evidently. Maybe if I had ordered the Deluxe in February instead of the Standard I would have it by now . . . oh well.

Maybe one day I will get mine. What I was told would be 6 - 8 weeks is turning into 6+ months.

so I bought a Schecter C1 Plus about a month ago, and last week bought another Schecter C1 Classic...

where is my amber strat ? heh, what are they doing in Cali ?

now I'm looking at LPs, at this rate there will be no funds for the Strat
I see some 2010s on ebay, but rather buy it from a store...besides, I'm wondering how they got them

Sorry you cannot find any Fenders, I got my American Special a few months ago and my local store has all sorts of 2010 Fenders in. Hang in there. Btw how are those Schecters?

I bought a MIM Standard today and it was a 2010 model. Granted, I am in Canada so we might have gotten a shipment that the US didn't.
