Jerry played a strat for a bit, though it was heavily modified...Garcia's tone was as much defined by amp and effect choices as it was by the guitar he was playing...nonetheless, a huge influence of mine.

Suppose the "classic" strat players like Knopfler, SRV, Hendrix would have to be included as well. Again though, so much of that trademark tone comes from amp and effects (IMO)
