I was curious how long it takes from the point you order to the point you receive your finished guitar. I've heard up to 8 months.

And overall, was it a good experience and did you think it was well worth the investment of time and money.

I got a custom shop strat in beautiful lake placid blue and a maple fretboard. My favorite guitar and most played! I can't remeber exactly how long it took for it to finally be at my house from the time I ordered it (but it took a while that's for sure.) The experience was WELL worth the money and the time. I encourage you to try it if you really want a special guitar that means everything to you! Mine gets played everyday and I never even touch my other electrics! Overall, it was an amazing experience to get the exact specs done the way you want them to!

(If you don't have a particular type of guitar you want to have built for you, you can always buy one of Fender's high quality Signature models!)

Thank you. I definitely have something in mind that isn't off-the-shelf, just wondering if it's worth the effort to have it professionally made over the course of a year or to buy the closest thing and build around it. From the sound of it, it's worth the wait.
