Woah, that is a steal...i dont know enough about a Strat that is assembled to determine if it is legit or not, I'd have to get someone in the know to inspect it further for me, i am a pessimist though.

you shouldn't post this up... there are a lot of AZ members on this list that may be tempted... Not me... but you never know about others.

agreed, i always hesitate to post anything linking others to the gear I may be wanting to buy online, if you think it is a good deal and post it surely someone else will also and it WILL disappear or get sold/Bought now before you can get to it.

Well, the guy is at work, and I'm meeting him right after work. So not much time in between for someone to snag it. Although, he might decide to sell it to someone else if they offered him more money or something.

Can't tell too much from the pic, and since he was at work I didn't want to keep him on the phone too long. I'm selling a GNX4 today and told him I would call him after that to get his address and find out more about it.

Check out the neck and frets for wear - - real well. If you like the feel and sound, it's yours!

Good luck!!!

Well, I bought it. It's in decent shape, but pretty dirty, so I'll clean it up and post pics and what my plan is for it. :D The frets are in good shape but the there some spots in the laquer on the first fret that is worn, not bad though. And the neck is really really dirty. Looks like it'll clean up easy though. It's a 95 has the SD pickups in the neck and bridge, and he changed the saddles to graphite saddles, also has vintage style tuners.

As I was waiting for the guy to get home, I checked craigslist again on my phone and someone else posted a white mexican strat for $150 that looked in good shape. So I called and left that guy a message too, but he hasn't called back and I can't find the ad now, so I guess it's gone. I showed the guy that ad though and asked if he could come down to $150. He said he just posted it and had 12 calls already, but I was the first, so anyway, we agreed on $160.

Sounds nice! Duncans and graphite saddles...post some pics for us when you get a chance. How does it sound and play? Is it setup nicely?

I posted pics on another thread.

Yeah it sounded good. I took it all apart already, so wasn't worried about the setup. I want it to look more vintage so making some changes to it.
