I've decided to buy an American Standard Strat! It's probably going to be a sunburst one with the maple fingerboard, but i'm not sure...

A few months ago i found a band to play in, and recently decided i need a Strat with noiseless pickups (can you relate? ), and i don't want to modify my other Strat, which was a gift from my aunt (i'm lucky)!

My other one is a MZ4064899 rosewood/sunburst, which is great as it is.

So anyway... i'd be happy to see some pictures of your AM STD Strats, just to get some inspiration. I'm thinking of changing the pickguard too.

We'll see... :P

Best regards

Vic

Here it is with my other American Standard, a '65. Strats were all American Standards when I bought the '65. :)

Oh, a sienna sunburst one! How do ou like he HSS configuration? I'm thinking of an sss with someting a bit more high output in the bridge position.
Yours sill have the tex-mex pickups in it, right?

I did try a HSS through a G-DEC 30 the other day, and liked it. But that was the 3-tone. I've never seen a sienna in real life...
