This is my personal favorite. I'm sure none of you would be surprised by it. lol

I've been using it for over a year now and it's about a million times better than my old 1" nylon straps. From now on there will be two requirements for straps when I buy them, wide and leather.[/url]

I like the ones made by Planet Waves. I find them to be the most comfortable.

The best strap?

The one my wife had custom made for me back in the late 70s by a leather crafter at the now defunct Georgtown Leather Design in Washington, DC. Still looks and feels great after 30+ years. :D

If I can figure out how to do it, I will post a photo.

I use Jodi Head straps and Schaller strap locks. My straps were kinda pricey but I feel my guitars are worth it besides they look and feel great.

That is nice. Is it bouncy? I don't like straps that stretch.

The best strap is the one that fit & looks good with your axe

I use this one mostly. It's not too slidy, and it hugs so tight I don't even use strap locks. It does stretch a little, but that makes it a bit more comfy in my opinion. The Navajo Red design looks really cool with my sunburst Strat.

I also just have a black cotton one from Rock Steady that I put a bunch of buttons on so it looks pretty cool. I haven't had to adjust it in about 2 years. Very solid.

I have strap locks on my Strats also. I have a black nylon Planet Waves strap and 2 Camo cotton Levy's straps. I have a Fender strap but it feels short and that makes it tough to fit over 12 pack abs. :D

I mentioned these earlier but since this is really such a great strap it's worth bringing up again for those who may have overlooked it. This strap is made by Onori who are actual guitarist that decided to design superior straps at reasonable prices. This special little sucker is made out of supple leather in black or brown and is double stitched for strength. Now what really makes this strap extremely comfortable, is a movable leather pad lined in soft sheepskin (don't worry not even noticable when wearing) that bears the weight of your axe like a pillow on your back. But what's extra cool are the leather straps that actually connect to your strap buttons are only an inch wide which makes for a very visually cool looking guitar strap...and the best part of all is they're only $35.00 from Elderly.
I have two.
Need I say more?

+1

They are indeed great.
And if you are worried about straplocks, PW has straps with a great working lock already on the strap. This way you can keep your strap buttons on your guitar.
