When I loosen the strings completely the bridge is popping out from the body about 1/4 of an inch although it used to be 1/8 of an inch 1-2 years ago.... When I actually tighten and tune up the strings the bridge is popping out over 1/2 of an inch when it used to barely come out at all! I have tightened the "claw screws" in the back cavity of my guitar but I still get the same result...... Is this normal? How can I fix it?

Yes, it is normal. Obviously, the fulcrum balance was upset from when you first got the guitar. You either have to tighten the claw some more or add an additional spring back there.

I already tightened the claw screws alot and it didn't show any difference when i measured it...... Should I add more springs if I already have 3?

Options are you get a new fresh set, add another spring on the fresh set of course and get a harder tension springs too not adding another spring.
You can try all these combinations

After installing a new set of strings, I'd add a fourth spring. Ironically, you might have to then loosen the claw a bit.

I do not have more than 3 springs in any of my Strats and that should really be enough as none of mine are set to float and are set flush to the body. How heavy a gauge string are you using? Maybe you should have a pro tech take a look as he should be able to straighten out the problem in a few minutes and it should cost very little.

I tend to use the lightest gauge I can find in the store.... and i guess i'll have a pro tech look at it
