Post subject: What's the difference between Alder and Selected Alder?

What's the difference between American Standard Alder and American Deluxe Selected Alder? Is it just appearance or is there more to it?

Regular alder has lots of knots, Select is much more knot free. No difference otherwise........... 8) Mike
