I just received my Fender Road Worn 60's Strat in the mail today and I love it. That is now my main guitar along with my Road Worn Tele. You know when you just feel it. That's exactly how I felt playing the Road Worn Strat today. They are made in Mexico too. I guess it doesn't matter where their made. (: It's the feel that counts.

Happy to hear you're happy with your sweet new axe! Is it true that the Road Worns have a nice worked in feel to them?

Oh, and pictures, please! :D

Are you really gonna give up your Am Std though? Just cause you have a better fit for you doesn't mean you should sell your other guitar. If theres one thing I know, years after you sell something you ALWAYS end up going "Why did I get rid of that?"

My example:

Anyway, don't sell the thing if you don't have to, stick it in a case somewhere if you aint using it. Whack a set of Screamin Demons or Hotrails in it for a different effect, but don't get rid of it.

+1 Don't get rid of it.

Put it in the case and forget about it. It'll be there waiting when you're ready to play it again. The only reason I'd sell any more gear is if I ran out of room.

I have to agree, to a point. The guitars I've sold in the past because "I had to" result in regret. The guitars I've sold because I never bonded with are a different story. I wanted them to have a good home. One man's ceiling is another man's floor. Can anybody guess the person's name that wrote that?

Congrats! Yes, those roadworns play and feel great. I've had mine for about two years now and wore out the frets already :D My USA strats are in the case and unplayed since I've had my roadworn. People dish out the roadworn purely on the cosmetics in this forum. I could care less on looks, but rather on feel, playability and tone.
