I'm a bit more confused now than when I first found the thread.

Here is how I understood things. TuneOmatic, is what are on Gibson type guitars, which have a neck angle. They generally don't work on Strats or Teles which don't have a neck angle... And... Adjustomatic is a Fender product (I posted a link above) found on Jag/Jazz and Mustangs. I'm not all that familiar with these guitars, but I imagine that they also do not have a neck angle.

If my assumption was correct, then I was wondering if the bridge swap was possible. I'm prepared to fill cavities and holes, but I'm not good with a router.

Well, actually the Adjusto-Matic™ is a Gretsch invention, from long before the FMIC era.
And the link you posted is not an AM™ bridge, it's an American Vintage Jaguar®/Jazzmaster® Bridge Assembly...

But my usual nitpicking aside (*grim grin*) and trying to answer:
Yes, you can install almost any bridge to a Fender, or your Alligator replica. Actually, switching the bridge type is easier on typical Fenders than typical Gibsons; the bolt-on neck gives more adjustment space for the bridge height. Strats, Teles, Jaguars, Jazzmasters (etc.) have been shimmed (both ways...) from since they were born.

You haven't told a lot about your project, so it's difficult to really help.
But one piece of advice (maybe the most important one) I can give already, re your router comment: practice all methods, tools and materials on scrap wood before you hit the real McCoy.

+ 1000 on the "scrap wood before you hit the real McCoy."
