Hey does anyone know a humbucker for the bridge slot that can split and has a late 60's tone (like 67-69). My best bet so far is the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. Thanks

The SD Pearly Gates is a good pickup, but the SD Seth Lover (PH55) is a much more vintage tone being a PAF replica developed by Duncan and Lover in collaboration. It is very vintage toned - but maybe more 50s than 60s. It's also unpotted, so squeals like a stuck pig if you overdo the gain. A lovely sound - great for Peter Green moments but still great with light to medium overdrive. As standard it comes with a 2 conductor cable, but there is a modified 4 conductor cable version available from SD so you can split it.

The SD Alnico 2 Pro humbucker is very nice too. Responds better to overdrive but still a nice tone for clean, even without splitting.

Last in the SD range is the SH1, sometimes referred to as the '59. Not quite as authentic as the Seth Lover, but it is wax potted for higher gain sounds. Nice clean - and with 4 conductor cable as standard for splitting.
