posting for a friend who doesn't have internet.

He recently purchased a 1997 Cunnetto Strat relic #R1826. Love the guitar and paid a premium price of $3,999 for a "Cunnetto" but have no documentation at all. Is it a Cunnetto or Cunnetto staff. It has a sticker summer NAMM 1997 sample #3. Is that any clue? Is it unusual being a 1957 relic ...most are '56's. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Vince Cunnetto being the premier builder of the time, it stands a good chance. Unfortunately without seeing it, or a coa, were not going to get far here.

If I were you mate, I'd post the question on the Ask Mike Eldred section of the forums. He could likely tell you from the serial no' alone.
