Well, my back-ordered plastic finally came. The vintage white (or as I like to call it, creme) accessory kit looks much nicer compared to the white I had on there previously. Stock American Standard came with white pickguard and white accessories.

The twist is I had just changed to Hybrid strings from Ernie Ball and ended up buying Heavy Top / Normal bottom or some such thing instead of the Hybrids. Well, when I went to string her up I had much too much tension on the neck and my setup went completely South. So I mucked about with it (low E was a 52 I think) and decided to get a normal set of 10's. To make a long story longer, back to the setup. I ended up changing my floated tremolo to decked. A month ago I was praising the virtues of the tremolo. That's the nice thing about Strats. Change is good. Anyhow, here's the pics. Rainy day here so the color's a bit dull. What'dya think?

I like it better than the white, but to me the pickgard that looks smoking on that color is the white pearloid one.

Yeah, I'm a fan of the white pearloid as well. My pet peeve is seeing the guitar from stage, from a distance I like the pickups to stand out. So with the white or white pearloid I'd have to do the opposite and have black or colored accessories. That's just me. White pups with white accessories on the Sienna Sunburst looks weak to me. Just my opinion.

That guitar is a beauty no matter what colour the pick guard.

What a beautiful guitar. I love the look of that black pick guard.

Looks great and to be honest with that finish I think any pick guard would look great. One sweet looking ax.
