I was just reading an interview with Eric Johnson on PeerlessTone.com where he claims that the EJ Strat doesn't have an undercoat.
I always thought that they didn't start using Fullerplast until around 1960 to stabilize the red color on 3-tone sunburst finishes.
I'm confused :roll:
