Yep, painted big time like this:

I gotta say I dont hear anything wrong with multipiece bodies. My favourite guitar has atleast 4 pieces probably 5 and no veneer.

I defy anyone to prove to me that 2 or 1 piece bodies sound better. I want proof not opinion.

I agree, the sun burst looks spectacular, and whether 2,3 or 10 pieces it sounds great.
But like a good mechanic, I want to know all about my new tools of choice.
Two months ago I bought this 2009 US standard in candy cola
my first Fender since the 80s.( not that I remember much of the 80s or even the 90s) ..
This thing blew my head off so bad!! when my friend wanted to sell his HWY1 I snatched it up.
Now I have a little time to learn about them, I thought I would ask the experts (you dudes)
