Hey guys i ordered a American deluxe v neck two tone sunburst 2 weeks ago guitar center cant give me an exact date of when its coming in [ finally talked to the manager and he is going to call fender Monday], but what is your experience on ordering a guitar from gc ? how long should it take ?

Mine's not coming from GC but is currently at the Fender plant and I was told 6 to 8 weeks.

I ordered my American Deluxe from Musicians Friend, which is the same company as GC. Once it arrived I was completely satisfied, and it is a beautiful guitar. It took me 5 days to have it delivered. The time was the time it took to have it shipped to me. It's now my favorite guitar.

I got the Chrome Silver (which looks like metallic flake silver), with a pearloid black pick guard, and black pickup covers and black knobs.

I think you'll be VERY happy with the American Deluxe.
