Post subject: Fender locking tuners.

Hi,
I can't seem to restring my Strat Plus with locking tuners, there is a small copper (something) blocking the stringhole, and it won't seem to move down even when I loosened the big round fastners on the back of the peghead.
Can somebody help me?

Try putting a toothpick through the hole. If the hole does not open up, I'd take it to the shop. Sorry I have never had to deal with an issue like that. Sorry. It might be time for a new tuner.
