On my American Deluxe Stratocaster it came with the 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Pop in Arm. The "pop in arm" concept is my question because on my new guitar, the arm just sits in the hole and does not pop in and works but is not held by any clip or whatever is inside the hole to keep in place. In other words, if I were to turn the guitar over (guitar facing down or the floor) the arm would fall out. Is this what you guys experience or does it stay in place?

It takes a fair amount of force to actually get t to "pop"...more than you might think or be comfortable with at first.

If you look at the back of the tremblock (take the strings off and take the entire trem out) there are two grub screws. One controls how easy/hard the arm is to pop in. The other controls how loose/tight the arm swing is when its in.

It worked! I realize "now" how much force I need to pop it in place. Once I got over that issue, the arm works much better just like it was designed. It comes out easy and pops right back in place when I want to use it.
