I am changing out my pickguard with a Fender S-1 switch with SCN Neck and Mid P/U's and the pearly gates Humbucker in the bridge when I made connections the volume does not work. Does anyone have any trouble shooting tips or sites to checkout?

Try checking your current wiring against the following diagram. Though I'm not sure about the wiring colour translations for the pearly gates. You should be able to google them and then encorperate them.

I'd recommend making a copy of the fender diagram and then cross off each correctly wired wire. This should then highlight whats worng with your current wiring.

Or you could post some pics so we can have a peek at whats going on.
