I have upgraded my MIM strat. Put the copper tape inside that I got from Stewart McDonald ( which does bring down the buzz ). I took it in to be set up properly and had the nut replaced with a graphite nut, had the humbucker replaced with a dimarzio. I also went to 10's on the strings and added a spring to make it a total of four springs. The set up is perfect, sustains like crazy now just as good as my schecter c-1+.

If I play a D chord hard or a few strums the E A D resonate. Any ideas on how to get strings I am not striking not to vibrate?

I tried to remove a spring and take the back plate off. No difference.

:) If your playin powered up at feed back level. The d,a, & e are in

strings with the palm of your pick hand... oh is that tape stopin some

The tape brought the buzz / hum down a lot. I am going to do it to my highway one next.
