I like the thick narrow pao ferro board of the SRV the best.Rosewood would be my second choice.

The v-necks are great for me since I can feel the subtle line and use it as a point of reference for my left hand positioning. It helps keep me consistent.

I also go for chunky rosewood. The neck on my Beck Strat is my favorite Fender neck.

Thin L series style neck,rosewood or maple, although maple wasn't too common in the Lseries necks.

Maple fretboard, medium jumbo frets, v at the headstock and flatter after the 7th fret, radius 9.5 and I just sanded off all the gloss finish from the back and put tung oil on it. Thats my neck I have now!! 8)
