B-e-a-utiful guitar!

I myself have an '08? in Honey Blonde with a maple fretboard. Best guitar I've ever owned.

I'm happy for you on making such a fine guitar choice :D

thank you sir, I think the HWY 1 years from now will be remembered as a hell of a steal on a USA made guitar and people will still be playing them, I know I will still be playing my HWY1 Tele in Honey blonde and maple as well as this D Blue Strat!

Congrats!

I really like that colour, and the HW1's are great guitars. :D

I'm a recent Rosewood convert. It's much warmer sounding. We have to do all we can to 'treble-down' our Strats; because they're historically a very bright sounding instrument!

+1 on this. I was a dedicated maple fretboard guy until last year. :)

Sweet guitar,Daphne blue is a great colour. You can't beat the 3 single coil layout,The HSS Strats don't appeal to me at all, single coils all the way.

So the bad news is I think I have determined that I am not Strat player. Love the guitar, it looks great and sounds great, but I think I am just more suited to playing a Telecaster. I am going to try to sell this Strat now and look for a Guild Starfire. Hate to let it go but, I have tried it for the past 2 weeks and just cant get comfortable playing it like I can my Tele.

Haha, man I am already looking to sell it! I think I am a Tele player, it feels so much more comfortable! I am going to sell my Strat and save until I can get a proper Guild Starfire or X series. Played a Starfire yesterday and it just felt so perfect.

I remember you saying a long time ago that if you found one of these in this color it would cost at least $2,000.00.

BCB got a great deal!!!
