Are 2009 MIM and 2008 MIA necks for Strats interchaageable?

That's exactly right. The reason for my question dealt with the inability to buy a genuine Fender neck. See, my MIA standard is black. When I bought it, it had a white pickguard and H/S/S configuration. HSS just doesn't look right on a Strat to me so eventually I got a black S/S/S pickguard, installed Lace Gold Sensors in bridge, middle and neck (wonderful pickups, by the way), and got black volume and tone knobs. The end result is everything is totally black on the body and it's just beautiful to me. Having the rosewood fretboard just seems to dull the visual effect. I never could tell the difference in sound between a maple fretboard and rosewood anyway so I figured what the hell, get a neck with a maple fretboard and be a happy man.
Sounds easy, doesn't it? Fender doesn't sell them for obvious reasons. The only authorized Fender repair shop within 50 miles wants close to $500.00 to replace the rosewood fretboard with a maple on my Strat. The guy has an excellent reputation so I think he just may be expensive. He said he could put on a nice Warmouth for much cheaper. My major sticking point is I want a genuine Fender neck with a genuine Fender logo.
That's when I was browsing through the Musicians Friend website and came across their MIM Strats with maple fretboards. The retuned one's are around $400 and so I wondered if their necks fit the MIA Strats. I plan to keep both, by the way.

You should be able to get a legitimate fender neck that has been parted out, from eBay for a lot less.
