.83 (green) Tortex for me. For some reason, I play better with my thumb on the logo side - even if the logo is worn off! I'll be playing and be like "somethings wrong." flip the pick, and I can play again. Wierd... :?

I kinda like the jim 0.60 but for years I used a big white triangle of a fender bass pick. No idea as to the gauge but I wasn't continually dropping it. For awhile I used a jim 0.35, good on a strat to get an acousticish sound but you would probably get the same quality of attack if you were to eat a bunch of chili, wait a day, hold your guitar to your arse and fart across the strings.

i use the .73 dunlop ones. ive been thinking of going a little smaller. ive heard that lighter picks help you play faster. True?

I would think no because of the extra wiggling.
