Absolutely. If you want a british sound you have to go with British amps.

If you want an American sound, go with American amps.

Hardly rocket science is it?

What I would like to see is a KT66'd Bassman that is Fenders take on the JTM amp. After all Jim Marshall copied the Bassman so I think it would be great for Fender to copy the JTM. Sort of a natural progression to that idea.

I think in a lot of ways that would be the all defining amp. I'd probably be selling the kids to buy one though.

As for me I am partial,
To a little amp from Marshall,
You can play like Page for days and days,
If you get a Marshall Haze.
If 60 Watts is too loud for you,
the 40 Watt Haze will surely do.

and i just read reviews on the haze 40 and people think they are crap, im looking for a good tube tone but i dont want to spend a thousand dollars im almost definatley gonna buy used, the reason i went to fender before marshall is that i know that fender has alot of good reasonably priced tube amps but i dont care if its marshall or fender i just really needs yalls help, and i will probably be laying some blues too
