Just wondering if anybody could answer this question. I bought a 1989 USA fender strat on march 28 1990. I decided to take the neck bolts out and replace since my old ones are kind of rusted a bit. This is the first time the neck has been removed in the 20 years I have owned the guitar, and I have had it since march 28 1990. Under the neck on the guitar body is a word Ballares or Gallares hard to tell if the first letter is a G or a B. I was wondering is that possibly was the inspectors name. Then there is a date July 1, 1989 which makes sense since it is a 1989 model, but there is another date stamped in there too which is September 06,1990. And the guitar has been in my hands since march of 1990, and I know the neck has not been removed. I was wondering if this was some kind of pre-date thing or what. Thanks

Could it be Palleres?

Oscar Palleres is a customshop neck specialist these days. I've played one of his necks on a 56CS guitar. Quite a beauty.
CS employees generaly come up through the ranks of production line manufacture.
