A while ago, with the help of somepeople here, I installed some EMG SA pickups in what can now only be considered a partscaster. The question I have is whether anyone knows if I can change the covers on active pickups as these are black? I think some white ones would really give it a nice Dave Gilmore Black Strat look.

Once the electronics go into those covers they are sealed in with epoxy. This makes the entire unit including the cover permanent; you'd have to outright change the pickups if you wanted them a different color.
