Post subject: New pickguard for Mex strat help

Hi, Im looking to get a new pickguard for my 98 Mexican strat. Ive heard that newer strats have different screwhole/pup hole placement so Im a bit worried to order a replacement over the internet. Can anyone shed some light on whether or not I'll have a problem with a new pickgaurd fitting? Its just a normal standard 11 hole strat but I'm not sure if its still indeed "standard." Thanx!

The pickup mounting holes should all have the same spacing but you may need to redrill one or two of the holes in the guitar body. No big deal really.
