Been waiting a week for this to turn up, kept missing the delivery guy! A 1998 Hardtailed USA strat, I love this bad boy, goes well with my 77 hardtailed strat.

I love the hardtail configuration as well...sustain for days and better tuning stability. I have three myself.

You hardly see hardtail Strats any more,I thought they'd stopped making them as I haven't seen one in a music store for years.I love the natural finish on your Strat just beautiful.BTW are these Seymour Duncan pups?

I know seem to love Hard Tailed strats, Something about them just ticks the boxes for me. The p/ups are Noiseless ones, although I have another HSS pickguard coming. I have a Duncan distortion and either a couple of Dimarzio YJM's or Heavy Blues or even BKP Irish tours for the middle/neck. I guess I'll try all and see what fit best. I also have some Fender locking tuners coming as I knew there were issues with the pegs when brought it.

You can't beat swamp ash!

This is my Mary Kay hardtail; two-piece center-joined swamp ash with an all-nitro "snow-burst" finish...
