I finally found a store that had a 62 avri strat....I'm in the market for a new strat and my choices are a 62 avri vs 56 custom shop nos.

Well, after a visual inspection that proved the 62 was perfect. What a high quality strat. Frets were perfect, fit and finish were superb. I plugged into a Fender Blues Deluxe and from the first chord strum it was just beautiful. Playability was right on and it was just a joy to play.

I think it will be a perfect match to my 57 avri strat. Now if I can just find a 56 cs nos strat to play, I'll have a really good idea if the price difference is worth it. I'm not really sure how much better a cs could be.
