Wow. Congrats. That is an awesome looking axe. What do you think of the heel?

Love it! For a Fender, it's a nice change.

You know, I don't even notice the heel on my Strats any more. I'm afraid if I tried one like yours I'd end up hating mine!

This is the first actual player review I have heard on the new deluxe and it sounds like a winner. Very unusual non clipping string system. lol So you are one of those players that used to have the rest of the string sprouting from the headstock before the new system. I just think about all the times over the years almost having my eye taken out by taking a new string out and having it unravel.

Sorry. Lifelong habit. NEVER cut strings! Been playing now for 47 years, and stopped cutting them about 45 years ago. The ends are not as dangerous, and the loops look cool... 8)

No. Sorry. They don't look cool. Not even a little bit.

That's my 2¢

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Hey, I found out that my guitar is the one ProGuitarShop.com used in their YouTube demo. Check it out.

Andy at ProGuitarShop in Portland, OR playing my new Strat...
