I just saw this band live last night. I thought they were pretty good theyre like a mix between metal core, punk and screemo. But anyways there guitarist was awesom he was all over the fretboard playing a strat, which is hard to see these days a metal guitarist playing a strat. He was killing it and i loved his pickups i want to know wat they are can you guys help. Here is a video of him doing solo stuff with the strat and another of the band.

Nice BB>Buddy>Jiimmy>SRV feel on that BB King classic. For a 'metal' guitarist, as you buttonhole him, he has a most convincing and pleasing blues style. Where the guitar is concerned, the question needs to be put to the player. It's definitely not stock as Fender builds them. The way players mod their stuff right out of the shipping carton these days, the sky's the limit. Thanks for the links though. Band has a great sound.

Well I went from one extreme to the other as I did not expect two diverse songs.lol He swiped his neck and bridge pup for what seem to be stacked humbuckers and left the middle pup stock, probably because he might not use it much. He also had the delay going during the blues song. A really well rounded player who indeed knows his way around the fretboard. I think Doc summed it up , you should contact the guy on his bands site and ask him about his gear. I think he will be more than happy to answer your questions.

I would say he is using a Seymour Duncan Little '59 bridge and a JB Jr in neck.

Whatever they are the neck is a humbucker in a single coil package.

Funny seeing the two drunk chicks grinding away in the background while he plays.

Its not hard at all to find strat-playing metal guitarists 'these days' at all.

I'll give you three, they're on tour in June and are already selling out shows all over the world...

1. Dave Murray
2. Adrian Smith
3. Janick Gers

But really you only need to remember two words:

And then there is Yngwie. After that, the drop off is more noteworthy than the Continental Shelf ...
