"NOS" literally means New Old Stock. Say a guitar or amp was built years (or even decades) ago, kept in storage, and then sold later it would be new as it's never been used, but old stock as it's been sitting around.

In reality it refers, more often than not, to anything that's made to look like old vintage stuff. That's the case with the Blues Jr NOS. They only started making them back in the mid 90's but the Tweed makes it look like an old (or new) Princeton from the 50s. This is still quite different from "reliced" which looks like it was made in the 50s and has lived a really hard life.

Well I pulled the trigger and returned my new Blues Jr, got the money and now am waiting on the arrival of my new Blues Jr NOS.
