I bought a new MIM Strat yesterday from Guitar Center. I was just wondering if anything was supposed to come with it. I didnt get anything but the guitar. No manual, tools or paperwork at all. Thanks!

PS- I love the guitar!

When I bought my MIM Jimmie Vaughn recently I got a gig bag Allen Wrenches and the manuals and a polish cloth.I was under the impression that all MIMs came with this.

You should have gotten some owners materials I know that it has been a long tradition for Fender to offer at least a gig bag and the owners manual with I.D. tags, you know... the whole enchilada.

Check with your salesperson, they may be new to their responsibilities and they may not have know that your guitar included some factory shipped materials. All Fenders do.

my mustang did (i didnt want the gig bag though, i got a real nice protection racket case for her ).... you should go to the guitar center you bought it from and ask about this

I dont know about Guitar Center, since I've never bought a guitar there, but at some shops I've bought from, they will try to sell you the case seperately. Its crappy.

Welcome to the forum!! A gig bag should have come with it. Look on the product section here and it will list what accessories come with you guitar!!

They just forgot to give it to you. Usually the plastic bag with the whammy bar, 2 allen wrenches, owners manual, and some labels is in the zippered
pocket of the gig bag. It happened to me with a strat but when I phoned GC they had me stop by and gave it to me.

I agree with Tagg, they must have forgotten to give it to you, i got a gig bag with my 2009 MIM tele with the same case candy as listed in the other posts.
