I purchased a EJ strat last week . Is there a way to find out when it was built. I was told it was a 2007. Is there away to find this out.

I dont think it rcognizes custom strats. Serial # invalid its telling me.

Next time you change the strings, pull off the pickguard and check the date stamp in the body cavity. You can also pull the neck and check out the neck date- my EJ body was made 1 day after the neck.

thanks md I'll pull the pickguard and look for a date when I change the strings. How do you like your EJ STRAT.

My EJ is my number one guitar at the moment. I've had it since it came out and like it over my CS NOS '60 strat. The really did a great job on the EJ. My hat is off to everyone involved in this creation.
