Are Japanese Strats any good?

No.

Your best bet is to send any you find to Ceri ...
he'll dispose of them properly.

Actually, from what I've heard the MIJ strats were (are) so good Fender pulled their (Japanese Factories) license as the MIJ strats were competeing a little too well against the American Standard's/Highway One's. Someone correct me if I'm misinformed.

Orc, that was a bit of an inside joke.

Ceri has a pretty sweet MIJ. there aren't many serious detractors here among people who have played them.

orvilles quote was sort of like : 'that food is terrible, I'll eat it all so you don't have to.' :wink:
