I had them on my 06 Dlx for the past couple months to give it that clasic strat vibe. However I'm hopefully picking up a new strat soon (second hand 60's RI) so don't need to give the deluxe a clasic vibe anymore.

Instead I'm going to turn it into a new beast with a Prs # 7 (lower output humbucker) in the bridge and a p90 in the neck, 3 way selector, 2 vol, 1 tone.

Just can't decide if I want a black pickguard or a white one. It is a Cherry burst ash body and tinted maple neck. Hmmmm

If you are worried I'm ruining a perfectly good strat, it has a history, I bought it second hand with EMG-S active single coils (Blah) instead of the original SCN's with S-1, and a stuffed neck. I tossed the neck for a new tinted deluxe v (insert drool here) and replaced the EMG's with SCN's (to return it to a somewhat original state), then later the Callaham bridge saddles for mojo.

So with the 60's RI and it's single coils moving in, I figure i can change things up a bit with my Dlx and it's (not sure where they belong) SCN's!
