Post subject: Replacing "F" style 3-hole mount neck

I have a MIM strat which has a maple fret board. I would like to replace the neck with one with a rosewood fret board but am having trouble finding one that will fit this guitar. Can I use a regular 4-hole neck and add the additional holes in the guitar body or any ideas where I can find an "F" style neck.
