I'm pretty sure one is Jimmie and the other is SRV - but I'm not sure of the tones. I have a Tex-Mex setup in my hybrid (which I like alot) and am wondering if anyone can give the the quick and dirty on upgrading to Texas Specials on my new American Strat?

Thanks in advance,
Bob

Texas Specials sound better with heavy strings (.012s +) to me. If you're not using that gauge, the Tex-Mex pups will sound more "stratty" if that makes any sense ?
