Well, I bought my dream strat a few days ago from Wildwood Guitars, got a really great price on a David Gilmour Relic, I just had to sign on and express my joy!

It arrives on Wed, anyone suggest an all tube bedroom amp to compliment would be appreciated. 5 watts max 1 watt or 1/2 watt would be ideal.

Congratulations on a great guitar!! I've got the NOS model and love it. I'm not sure that a amp that small will do it justice and really bring out the tones that the guitar can deliver but maybe someone else can advise you. Good luck and ENJOY!!!

welcome and grats on the new guitar!!
i suggest you try a fender champion 600 amp, being that it is the only all tube 5watt amp i could think off. that being said, i play a 15 watt blues junior in my room and it is just fine.

If your adamant about sticking with a 5 watt amp, I 'd suggest either a Blackstar 5 watt combo, Marshall Class 5, or a Blackheart little giant combo

I agree with Tanner,a 15W Blues Jr. is a great bedroom amp,I have one as my living room amp and you can get great]tones at bedroom volumes. The beauty of a 15W amp is that you don't have to go through the hastle of buying a new amp if you decide3 to progress outside the bedroom. There are not a lot of 5W tube amps to choose from and as far as price goes a 15W amp won't cost much more but if you are really intent on 5W Marshall or Blackheart will probably give you the fullest low volume sound.

I have both a Champion 600 and a Marshall class5. I would enthusiastically recommend either.

Hmmm a low wattage amp to team up with such a high end guitar.

Your lucky I'm on the ball today.
Get one of these, they cost a load of money but are truely fantastic amps.

If your in the UK I can recommend better, but you'll struggle to get em in the states and they cost more.

Congrats on the great guitar. I would suggest you check out reviews on the new Mesa/Boogie Trans Atlantic amp. That oughta get you any sound you want and really showcase the DG.

Check out a Samamp VAC 23 switchable from 3 watt to 23 watt. They are killer amps.

The Vox night train head can go as high as 15W, and as low as .5 All tube, great tone, simple EQ, nice price. Plus, you can get any kind of speakers that you want. If you ever end up jamming with friends, you are going to wish you had more than one watt.
