I have owned two different Fender Squier series guitars-one with a maple neck (KILLER!!) and one with a rosewood neck (not as great but still ok)

I think they kinda vary in quality (as far as the bodies go) but the one with the Maple neck I sold to my brother in law was as nice of a neck as any Strat i have played. I think because of the the timing the necks were MIA (Mexico facilities didnt start making necks until 96 or 97 I believe)
