Hello everyone,

I was looking around in the local music store, and saw an unusual strat (it WAS a Fender...or so I assume by the headstock).

By its price, I assume it's a MIM, but had a satin finish. Also, it had a single humbucker and a single volume knob...nothing else.

My question is, if it is a satin finish, is it nitrocellulose?

And do these guitars have body routing same as all the other strats (to hold 3 pickups), or only to hold that one humbucker to retain more wood?

I believe that was a large FSR (Fender Special Run) called the "Straight 6"
It's a standard strat (MIM) with the single hum and flat black paint. Kind of inspired by rat rods...

That's the one. How are they routed? Is the body routed to house H/S-S-S, or just that single H?
