I just bought a Highway One HSS last weekend and I'm concerned about my bridge saddle height. In particular on my high e string I don't have any of the "ribbed part" of the two screws coming out. So when I recently put new strings on my guitar, the high e fell into one of the holes on the saddle bridge until I pulled it out.

So my question is, how high should I have my bridge saddles set? Shouldn't the two screws (I know that's the wrong term... I'm sorry) be sticking out to hold the string in place?

thanks in advanced,

Geoff

My advice is to take it and get it professionally setup.

Yup, have it set up professionally. Mine was set really well from the factory, plays beautifully. :D

Eh, that can be said of most any new guitar. I'd recommend a good first set-up right off on just about any axe, unless you are perfectly happy from the get-go.
