if you sell it to a collector you could sell it for more than a new one
i dont know how much someone would pay for a "new" srv from 92 but i think you can make good money on it....

What do you mean by new? It is a 1992 Strat- it just hasnt been touched. When I opened the case it still had that "new" guitar smell, and certain things still had plastic wrapping on the plastic parts.

A mint 1992 SRV with pau ferro neck (which yours would be since it is from Nov) would probably bring about $1500. I watch virtually every sale and I am pretty confident in that number.

Sounds right to me.Maybe (and thats a big maybe) someone might bid it up to close to 1800, but 1400 - 1500 seem to be the ceiling. The problem with the plastic film is as it ages , it is a mess to clean up . The adhesive breaks down.
