I have just finished a swamp ash body with clear nitro and have a birdseye on maple neck. I was just going to use the old components but... a new AS trem, new (old) tuners now in hand make the wired pick guard I was going to use not interesting. I am looking for feedback on the 69 pick ups, the Noiseless and the Texas Specials. also they are going on a lefty, do I have to reverse them? I am still learning to play but I love blues and rock

You could reverse them, but I don't think the wiring will work. Noiseless will be your best bet since they don't have staggered pole pieces like the Texas Specials. (I'd trade my TS for noiseless any day!)

I just put togetner my MIM strat with Custon Shop 69 pickups. i am also left handed. i installed them in the normal config and they sound awsome. (no reversing them). head and tails above the stock pups. i also installed new pots and switch on a pearloid picguard. looks great. i simply removed the standard picguard flipped it over and duplicated the layout only with new and better stuff. the 69s are much more alive with a nice classic strat sound with a nice bite. sorry havent tried the others you mentioned.
