Hi all,

I'm thinking about getting a MIM 70's reissue Strat. I was just wondering if anyone has any particular thoughts about this model?

I used to have a '74 Strat - all in original condition, too (including the rust). :)

I had to sell it back in 2005 (long story), and although I love my HW1, I recently played one of these MIM 70's ones, and liked it a lot. I just wanted to hear from others who own these, and find out about their opinions/experiences with them. Pros? Cons?

I'm planning on getting one with a maple board (like my 'lost' one had), and just wanted some opinions from those "in the know".

I'll probably get one either way, if I'm being honest with myself, but just wanted to hear some other opinions.

Thanks in advance!

G'day Bud,

Mate from Adelaide here, lol N proud.

Anyway I personally would go for the Made In Mexico, aka mim, Fender Classic Series 70's ri Stratocaster.

I played one of these at the local and I reckon one of these are next on my list.

I like the Natural body with Maple neck. just awesome.

I don't own one so I can't give you pro's and cons.

Been playing live for 27 years and I would play one of these on stage.

God damn......as I was typing this I clicked on your link and realised that

it's the same strat I was looking at. Great choice Bud.

anyway good luck and let us know how you go....

Remember as you know anyway.....pics pics pics...if purchased...if not show us your HWY 1....

Take care and good luck.
