You can't delete a thread after someone has replied to it. You could edit your post. But no need... here's the link to that guitar. 8)

The description on the craigslist page says birds-eye maple neck, but I don't see any birds-eye-esque patterns at all on the neck >_> LIEZ!!!! ^^

Frankly, neither did I.

FWIW, if you look at many a maple neck, oftentimes you'll see a vague knot (bird's eye) here and/or there which justifies in some players' minds to proclaim a given neck, bird's eye maple. This same reasoning with a slight ripple in the grain here and/or there also applies to flame maple neck proclamations. Frankly, I prefer the plainest maple necks possible. YMMV.

I couldn't agree more on your "plainer, the better" choice on the neck wood grain, or lack thereof. i like the solid neatness of it.

Great looking guitar, its not a players strat, they don't come in that color. I think it well worth it. Even if its a parts caster. Gold hardware isn't cheap!

Ah, you're right.... I've never seen the blonde finish actually sold before.... Typically, all I've seen are the red or blue finishes...
