okay so. I play an acoustic guitar. I've had this strat sitting in my basement. It's in great condition because it hasn't been played much. Anyways I was going to try to sell it. I know we got it in the 90's but, I can't find when the serial number matches anywhere. (online or the SN lookup on the sight) The serial number is CJ98060144 If you know how to look it up or what kind of info you could give to me based on that, I'd really appreciate. Thanks guys!!

Hi stardust1595, welcome to the forum. Send an e-mail to Fender customer service and include your Serial Number. In return you will receive a stat sheet detailing your specific guitar. It should answer most, if not all of your initial questions.

I think CJ serials are Chinese, does it say Squier on the headstock?
